This morning, I tallied the courses I have taught since March 2012, when I started teaching for Keuka College in Hanoi, Vietnam. Not counting the two Master’s-level courses I will teach this spring for Daemen College in Buffalo, NY, I have taught 68 sections (classes) for 15 subjects at the Freshman to Master’s levels in four countries for five universities.
The Ph.D. in Education degree I am pursuing at the University at Buffalo already has helped me improve my teaching methods and effectiveness. I look forward to completing the degree next year and to conducting future research while I continue to teach. Although I have not updated it recently, I recommend visiting and following my personal experiential education website and blog at paulmcafee.com. As this semester wraps up, I will add articles and insights about experiential learning to the website.
