These Vietnamese college students naturally take photos and videos of almost everything. They have their smart phones and use those constantly. When they do a project, there is usually one student with a high-quality digital camera taking photos to document the project. It is not necessary to tell them to do this. The other aspect of this culture is that the student share their activities freely on Facebook. When they are selling products, they create Facebook pages devoted to marketing their products to their friends.
The following slide show is of a visit by students to the Vietnam National Children's Hospital in Hanoi. The students used funds generated from their class projects to purchase food and gifts for children undergoing treatment at the hospital.
