Today, two academic experts, Laura Goodlad, an LMS expert at Rutgers, and Anna Mills, a writing education expert, posted an article that is both descriptive and prescriptive. This is the best that I have seen on the subject of ChatGPT and student writing: "CRITICAL AI: Adapting College Writing for the Age of Large Language Models such as ChatGPT: Some Next Steps for Educators (3)." I recommend at least scanning this article. Hopefully, there will be time to talk about ChatGPT during our January 31 meeting.
